Absztrakt

Employee motivation could be defined as a drive that forces employees to work hard in an organization. Motivation comes from a Latin word, "movere," which literally means "movement". Every individual is motivated in one way or another; two types of employee motivation are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This paper analyzes the relationship between employee motivation and how it affects an organization's performance through literature review and questionnaire. We tried to prove Herzberg's Theories of Motivation and McClelland's Theory of Needs.
