Proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of hazards are central to SMS, fostering a safety-first culture at all levels of aviation operations. Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) within SMS provides a systematic approach to evaluate potential failure points in complex systems, enhancing the safety and reliability of critical aviation components.
