Development of a virtual reality application and general methodological considerations for seeking code for a possible continuation

Abstract

The dissertation describes a virtual reality application developed in an open-source game engine. As the game engine was discontinued, and no successor platform was chosen yet, the web search of software developers was studied to aid the development in a possible continuation of the project. The notion of immersion (an important element of virtual reality) was studied.
