In my thesis I am writing about how non-native speakers acquire discourse markers. I introduce some of the most important definitions. I also examine two studies in the topic of discourse marker acquisition as a non-native speaker of English. After that I tackle some interesting issues and try to find patterns and possible explanation of the issues which were raised in the literature.
