dc.description.abstractIn my thesis I will analyze racial issues, which have been fragmenting the society in America with a special focus on the situation of African Americans and Affirmative Action federal policy which was made to protect the rights of people from minority background. “Affirmative action” means positive steps taken to increase the representation of women and minorities in areas of employment, education, and business from which they have been historically excluded.”4 Black Americans’ race has gone through the most disparaging circumstances concerning the history of the United States and the solution for their problem has never been settled.hu_HU
