Absztrakt
This research has discovered major differences in the cultural behaviors of Liberians and Hungarians, along the cultural dimensions of Geert Hofstede namely power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism, masculinity, and long-term orientation. A comprehensive grasp of the cultural norms and values that are characteristic of both Liberian and Hungarian firms is necessary to assess the importance of these characteristics in those companies. Through a comparative analysis, the study seeks to uncover the cultural shadows that form business practices, leadership styles, and decision-making processes in these different cultural contexts. The activities of the companies in the two countries showed that companies concentrated more on local-based activities as part of their policies. Understanding the differences and similarities between these aspects may contribute to successful intercontinental negotiations and business.
