The thesis investigates the effectiveness of communicative activities in developing students’ speaking proficiency in an English as a foreign language classroom. The Literature Review therefore deals with the theoretical part of speaking and makes the reader acquainted with some findings of methodology concerning developing students’ speaking skills.
