I analyse Dunant and Chevalier's commercial fiction, principally. I outline their style of writing specifically how they differ from the approaches of the older generation of authors producing women's fiction (for instance Virginia Woolf, Bronte) and how they deal with the gender issues of their times such as sexual awareness (homosexuality) and complex questions related to gender itself.hu_HU
