The topic of the present research deals with polyglots, otherwise also known as individuals who, by their own admission, can speak several languages fluently or on a conversational level. The knowledge gained from the language learning habits of polyglots can provide us useful information for school-age children who are in the process of second language acquisition, as these before-mentioned individuals are often proven to learn a second language more successfully - in less time and more thoroughly -, than the average language learner. The aim of the research is to summarize the techniques and routines of polyglots and utilize the information thus obtained to teach languages more effectively during classroom practice, using the information provided. In addition, the research also aims to explore connections between various polyglot characteristics.hu_HU
