dc.description.abstractOver the course of this research the concept of unemployment as a function of economic failure was explored highlighting the correlation of unemployment to a certain lack of skill present in the populous. Adult education which is a type of skill acquisition was then explored with the purpose of clarifying the boundaries of skill acquisition as referred to in this research. Types of skill acquisition and its economic importance was reviewed where its impact on unemployment was discussed.
