The thesis focuses on flappers’ fashion as well as the parallels that can be drawn between fashion and women’s social position. It will also focus on the idiosyncrasies of the extravagant flapper fashion, for example, knee-length skirts, makeup and high-heeled shoes and their effects on women’s attitude. The analysis will shed light on how society reacted to the changes.
