This paper examines the traumas and mental health issues represented in Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017). My thesis focuses on the key aspects of A. A. Milne’s PTSD, Christopher Robin’s childhood neglect, and the of mental health and fame. The film portrayes of the struggles of Milne and his family after the Great War, and the writing process of Winnie-The-Pooh. This serves as a coping mechanism with his PTSD. Due to Milne's PTSD, Christopher Robin's childhood shaped by parental and emotional neglect, , as he becomes a symbol of innocence for the public while experiencing isolation and pressure from his parents.
