After presenting the development, goals, functions and most common selection tools of human resource management, the paper examines what people think about the currently popular recruitment and advertising platforms, and how they evaluate them. Is there any difference in the sources of information of the age groups, what are the correlations between the different aspects of the the selection? For the study two online questionnaire surveys were conducted at a large company operating in the financial sector. The first questionnaire was completed by employees of the company involved in recruitment and selection, and the second by the other employees.
