In order to comply with the requirements of the new programmes of schools, one of the teachers’ basic standpoints is to use the complexity of different subjects in a lesson. This means that the teacher has to aspire to connect the covering material with other subjects., and s/he has to integrate different subjects to teach one particular thing. I am going to write about the possible connection and integration of English language and literature. Practically, it means the connection of three different subjects: literature, grammar and a foreign language. In our case, the easiest way to do this is to use literary texts in teaching a foreign language. Certainly, this is a complex and difficult task for a teacher, and that is why it needs more work and more preparation.
