Doktori disszertációmban a tihanyi apátság 1211. évi birtokösszeírásának nyelvtörténeti, névtörténeti vizsgálatára vállalkoztam. Értekezésem öt nagyobb egységből áll. Az első feje-zetben a birtokösszeírás nyelvészeti jelentőségét tárgyaltam, valamint feldolgozásának szük-ségességét indokoltam meg. A második egység az oklevél betűhív szövegét és a magyar fordí-tását tartalmazza. A harmadik fejezetben a diploma filológiai jelentőségét részleteztem, vala-mint bemutattam az oklevélben előforduló helynévi szórványokat. A negyedik, központi feje-zetben a Tihanyi összeírás 125–127 különböző magyar nyelvű helynévi szórványainak újsze-rű megközelítésű, komplex elemzését végeztem el. A munkámat záró, összefoglaló fejezet a vizsgált nyelvemlék általánosabb kérdésköreit érinti (szövegbe illesztés módjai, lokalizálás, névrendszertani sajátosságok). The aim of this dissertation is the historical linguistic and onomastic study of the 1211 land survey of the Abbey of Tihany. The paper includes five chapters. In the first chapter of the dissertation, the linguistic significance of the land survey is discussed, alongside with a justi-fication of why it is necessary to process this document. The second chapter contains a literal copy of the Latin text of the charter and its Hungarian translation. In the third chapter, the philological significance of the charter is discussed in detail, and the Hungarian place names occurring in the document are described. The fourth, central chapter contains a complex analysis of the 125–127 different Hungarian place names appearing in the Tihany land survey, from a novel approach. The closing, comprehensive chapter of the dissertation discusses more general aspects of the charter (in what ways the place names are integrated into the Latin text, issues of localization, and onomastic taxonomical characteristics).
