The prevalence of under-five malnutrition in Kenya is high with the Kenya Demographic Health survey 2014 indicating is at 26%. The thesis seeks to identify the prevailing factors influencing under-five malnutrition in Kenya. This has been done by examining studies conducted in Kenya and published in the last 10 years focusing on the topic of interest. Information obtained from the reviewed studies shows that there are factors influencing the prevalence of malnutrition in under-five’s.
