This paper investigates whether we can improve the material of vocabulary learning with the help of the presence of self. To examine the efficiency of self-reference effect three groups were instructed to process the target words through traditional examples, self-aided dialogues and learner-generated sentences. Another aim of the research is to compare the different presentation modes applied, whether they lead to disparate vocabulary knowledge.hu_HU
