dc.description.abstractThe aim of this essay is to discuss the acquisition and use of bound morphemes and functional categories in English and Hungarian child language. I am going to elaborate on the · Possible reasons for the differences in production of these morphemes. Whether they are attributed to Hungarian language, environmental influences or cognitive skills of 2-3 years old children. · Possible reasons for the differences in the rate of acquisitions. In the first chapter I am going to provide the theoretical background from linguistic and applied linguistic contexts. In the second part of my thesis, I am going to draw conclusion on the basis of my research conducted in the créche of Cegléd.hu_HU
