The present paper is a critical review of various studies on the topic of the effects of video games on adults and their prevalence during the Covid-19 pandemic presented in a thematic structure. Upon analyzing and comparing these studies, the aim is to get to a conclusion on how addictive video games have gotten upon their different use by different individuals in different contexts.
