The dissertation titled "Enhancing the Sustainability of Higher Education in Indonesia: A Six-Sigma Approach" explores the application of the Six Sigma methodology to improve the sustainability and operational efficiency of higher education institutions in Indonesia. By integrating the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) framework, the study identifies key inefficiencies in academic and administrative processes and proposes data-driven strategies for continuous quality improvement. Empirical findings indicate that the implementation of Six Sigma significantly reduces process variability, enhances resource utilization, and improves stakeholder satisfaction. As a result, the study concludes that Six Sigma offers a viable and systematic approach for achieving long-term sustainability in Indonesian higher education institutions.
