dc.description.abstractTarget features in acquisition as knowledge of aspectual distinctions in Spanish requires native speakers of Hungarian to remap semantic concepts regarding the temporal status of events onto new morphological configurations. I hypothesize that those concepts are taken from both the native language (Hungarian) and second language (English) in the case of the third language (Spanish). I express my suggestions for the role of English (as L2) in the acquisition of the Spanish language based on theories of linguistics rather than specific data.hu_HU
