Utilizing Fandoms in Language Teaching

Absztrakt
In my thesis I aim to introduce some fandom materials from the perspective of classroom utilization. In order to understand the roots of fandom, I explain popular culture and the history of fan studies. I also deal with fans as consumers and producers of fan practices. In addition, I examine the opportunities provided by fandom in language learning. In my practical chapter I present the computer-assisted language learning, with some useful websites for lesson planning as well as I provide examples, as possible classroom activities.
