Quality education is the 4th goal out of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Education is a necessary factor for the achievement of all SDGs. On the other side, Quality education can be enhanced through the presence of high English language proficiency in the country. According to literature and statistics, education systems which adopt the English language enjoy higher quality education than others, because it is the common language of researches, technology, and businesses. On the level of economies, English language proficiency in the society has many positive economic side-effects. For example, English can highly support ease of doing business, the percentage of FDI from English-speaking countries, gross income per capita, etc. (Pinon-Haydon, 2010). As a result, English language proficiency index (EPI) is very important for the achievement of sustainable development.
