In my perspective, Hungary’s English Language Teaching Curriculum’s focus should shift from textbook-centered skills development to the integration of cultural elements into English classes to provide language learners with meaningful learning experiences. In my thesis, I intend to prove that teaching English is not only possible without textbook materials and tasks but by applying a cultural studies-oriented approach with carefully selected supplementary materials and extracurricular topics students’ levels of integrative motivation and attitude toward linguistic studies can significantly improve.hu_HU
