dc.description.abstractAbsztrakt Értekezésemben a kortárs magyar ifjúsági próza kiemelkedő alkotásait elemzem, a választott szövegeket a jelenkori, elsősorban magyar nyelven íródott ifjúsági irodalom kontextusában igyekszem elhelyezni. Vizsgálódásom fókuszában az ifjúsági próza áll, de a részterület értelmezéséhez szükséges kezdetben a gyerek- és ifjúsági irodalom egészével foglalkozni. A bevezető fejezet a gyerek- és ifjúsági irodalommal kapcsolatos kutatási eredmények összegzésére törekszik. A dolgozat a gyerek- és ifjúsági irodalom definiálhatóságának kérdésének tárgyalásával indul, majd a fogalom történetével foglalkozik. A vizsgált szövegkorpuszt a felnőtteknek és gyerekeknek szóló irodalom határterületén jelöli ki. A bevezetőt öt kortárs magyar ifjúsági szöveg értelmezése követi. A művek válogatásának egyik szempontja a hibridizáció volt, mely nemcsak a gyerek- és ifjúsági irodalommal, hanem általában a (kortárs) szépirodalommal foglalkozó szakirodalom egyik kulcsfogalma. Az elemzések arra világítanak rá, hogy a hibridizáció több szinten is értelmezhető a kamaszoknak szóló könyvekben: számos szövegre jellemző a műfajok, tematikák, regiszterek keveredése. A dolgozat elsődleges célja e hibridizáció bemutatása: arra vagyok kíváncsi, hogyan keverednek bizonyos műfajok az egyes szövegeken belül. Mindez pedig elvezet a dolgozat másik kulcsfogalmához, a határátlépéshez: az ifjúsági próza egyik meghatározó sajátossága a transzgresszív jelleg, a műfaji, nyelvi kódok sorozatos felforgatása – ebben a folyamatban az ifjúsági irodalommal kapcsolatos előzetes elváráshorizont is megváltozhat. A disszertáció másik célkitűzése, hogy a választott szövegek értelmezésén keresztül körüljárhatóvá váljanak az ifjúsági próza jellemzői. A különféle műfajú és tematikájú regények ugyanis sok ponton mutatnak hasonlóságokat is, a disszertáció összegzése ezeket a párhuzamokat veszi sorra, általánosabb érvénnyel.
dc.description.abstractAbstract In my dissertation I analyse the outstanding works of contemporary Hungarian youth prose, and I try to place the selected texts in the context of contemporary youth literature, written primarily in Hungarian. The focus of my research is on youth prose, but in order to understand this subfield, it is necessary to start with children's and youth literature as a whole. The introductory chapter aims to summarise research findings on children's and youth literature. The paper begins by discussing the question of the definability of children's and youth literature and then moves on to the history of the concept. It identifies the corpus of texts as being on the borderline between literature for adults and literature for children. The introduction is followed by an interpretation of five contemporary Hungarian youth texts. One of the criteria for the selection of the works was hybridisation, which is a key concept not only in children's and youth literature, but also in (contemporary) fiction in general. The analyses show that hybridisation can be understood on several levels in books for adolescents: many texts are characterised by a mix of genres, themes and registers. The primary aim of this thesis is to illustrate this hybridisation: I am interested in how certain genres are mixed within particular texts. This leads to the other key concept of the thesis, the crossing of boundaries: one of the defining characteristics of youth prose is its transgressive character, the serial subversion of genre and linguistic codes – in this process, the preconceived expectations of youth literature may change. Another aim of the dissertation is to explore the characteristics of youth prose through the interpretation of the selected texts. In fact, the novels of different genres and themes show similarities in many respects, and the synthesis of the dissertation will take up these parallels in a more general sense.
