Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Analysis of the major factors influencing the evolution of the electricity prices and the composition of renewable energy sources in the European UnionMadarasi, Péter; T. Kiss, Judit Gabriella; DE--Műszaki KarThe evolution of electricity prices and the composition of renewable energy sources within the European Union (EU) are critical issues with significant economic and environmental implications. This thesis investigates the major factors influencing electricity price fluctuations and the role of renewable energy integration in this dynamic. The primary objective is to analyse the relationship between the share of renewable energy sources and the evolution of electricity prices with different independent variables (e.g. electrical combustion, gross domestic product (GDP), population, greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), etc.) in the EU from 2004 to 2022. Utilizing a combination of linear regression, power regression, and exponential regression models, this study examines multiple variables, including GDP, Electricity combustion, Population, GHG, Energy import and export. The data were sourced from Eurostat and other reliable databases, ensuring a robust and comprehensive analysis. The results are derived from output table of different regression models.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Economic Study of the Factors Influencing Renewable Energy ConsumptionErdenebat, Khulan; T. Kiss, Judit Gabriella; DE--Műszaki KarA total of five Northeast Asian countries with very dynamic economic levels were examined. Multiple economic, environmental, and social factors from 1995 to 2020 were examined to find their impact on renewable energy consumption. Regression modeling for the panel data was conducted to find this relation and make predictions using statistical software such as STATA SE/18 and Eviews 12.0. As trade openness and net export are highly related to each other, both containing export and import indicators, in order not to cause a severe correlation between them, they were studied using two different models. Gross fixed capital formation (investment) and net export would positively affect REC. However, GDP per capita, labor force, trade openness, GHG, and energy consumption would negatively influence the dependent variable.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Economic Study of the Use of Renewable Energy Sources (in terms of economy, efficiency, and effectiveness)Aqeel, Yanal Nabil A.; T. Kiss, Judit Gabriella; DE--Műszaki KarThis study aims to compute an econometric model, describing how various macroeconomic factors affect the consumption of renewable energy. The statistical tool used in this study is the multiple regression statistical model, which will give a governing relationship that can help us understand and quantify the factors that play a role in achieving our environmental and economic goals set and help in decision making in the future.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Effets of Energy Access on Human DevelopmentBatbyamba, Gankhet; T. Kiss, Judit Gabriella; DE--Műszaki KarThis thesis investigates the impact of access to clean energy on the Human Development Index (HDI) across 24 countries over the period from 2010 to 2021 in East Asia and Pacific region. The study uses panel data analysis to explore both the direct effects of clean energy access and the broader implications for human development. The primary aim of this research was to assess the correlation between HDI and energy access, specifically determining whether increased energy access contributes significantly to human development. Additionally, the study sought to identify the most influential independent variables affecting HDI and ensure the findings' robustness through various econometric tests. Unit root tests indicated that the variables were stationary, justifying the use of panel data techniques. Pedroni's cointegration test confirmed an extended timeline balanced relationship between HDI and access to energy, highlighting the sustainable impact of energy access on HDI. The analysis was conducted using panel data techniques, employing both FE and RE models to control for unobserved heterogeneity among the countries. The different models revealed that access to energy has a comprehensive beneficial and statistically relevant effect on HDI.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Electrical Vehicles Market Research and TrajectoryDawas, Abdullah Ratib Lutfi; T.
