Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Evaluating the veterinarian role in one health approach at antimicrobial resistance perspectives, Jordan.Bazzi, Randa; Gábor, Rácz; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Bazzi, Randa; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi Kar::Megelőző Orvostani IntézetThis study aims to evaluate the role of the Jordanian veterinarian’s knowledge, attitudes, and practices in tackling AMR, as well as it will include the registered veterinary pharmaceutical products between 2017-2020. A web based cross-sectional KAP survey link was distributed to the veterinarian who is registered in the JAV. Reports of the registered pharmaceutical products were obtained from JAV and then categorized into imported and produced drugs. The results were analysed descriptively and showed that the average knowledge of the participant who had agreed with the statement that refers to the AMR definition was 84%. The majority (95.65%) considered AMR as a challenge for the veterinary sector in Jordan and should be prioritized beside other zoonotic diseases. A 68.70% of the participants believe that the misuse and overuse of antimicrobial by quacks, fraudulent and unauthorized practitioners are the main contributor to the AMR challenge, and the most common practices among them were recommending the customers (farmers, owner, etc..) to practice good animal husbandries (80.00%).To conclude, implementing antimicrobial resistance continual educational program is essential to improve the veterinarian knowledge in all aspects of AMR; to enhance their advisory skills. Also obligating legislations that ensure the veterinarian to prescribe the correct antimicrobials and improving the surveillance system to monitor the antimicrobial consumption in the veterinary field.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető The study on work-place stress and performance among physicians in district health centers of across the Ulaanbaatar city, MongoliaBaatartsol, Bilguun; Fekete, Zita; Institute of behavioral sciences; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Füzi, Márta; Biró, Éva; Assistant professor, Institute of preventive medicine; Assistant lecturer, Institute of behavioral SciencesMy study is about workplace stress and performance among physicians working in the medical field. The critical urgency of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the difficulty to tackle down the characteristics of the two viruses, and the lack of systematic research on this subject motivated the researcher to undertake this study. The PRISMA method was employed for this study, and data was collected from multiple databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar. The PECO acronym was used to create the research question, and the Mesh terms were considered for the search. Eligibility criteria were considered to include original studies conducted on human samples that compared between SARS-COV-1 and SARS-COV-2 in one or more of the following topics: incidence, prevalence, epidemiology, transmission, infection, reservoir, or incubation period. Studies were excluded if they were reviews or written in a language other than the English. The results procured when applying the search strategy were insightful. The types of studies included are a cross-sectional study, an ex vivo study, an original correspondence, and an original predictive software model. The four original studies included compared between human exposure to SARS-COV-1 and SARS-COV-2, providing information about the occurrence of the two diseases, the incidence rate in many areas around the world, the age groups that varied between children and adults, and the median age of the studied samples. Some of these studies categorized patients into gender groups to minimize bias. In addition, some of the studies provided numbers about the mortality rate, the prevalence of signs and symptoms as a direct outcome of the two viruses, as well as information about their reservoirs and their abilities to transmit from/ to humans. To conclude, it appears that the recent coronavirus outbreaks, despite the similarities between the two viruses, SARS-COV-2 was able to mutate and become more infectious than SARS-COV-1. More long-term researching and further investigations are needed.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Prevalence of obesity in the Middle East among youth (children and adolescents aged 10-19)Albettar, Bashar; Gábor, Rácz; Debreceni Egyetem::Általános Orvostudományi Kar; DE--Népegészségügyi KarObesity is a major risk factor for a number of chronic and non-communicable diseases including diabetes, kidney problems, and cardiovascular diseases, and it dramatically on the rise in all countries. There is an increased interest in how the news media represents contemporary challenges, including childhood obesity, in public health. This study attempts at understanding how online news media in Pakistan portray the issue of childhood obesity to its citizens. A science-centered approach citing expert opinions and facts has been used to address the issue. An individual has not been framed primarily responsible for childhood obesity, rather more emphasis is given on the fact that other social, economic, and political factors also contribute to the rise in childhood obesity. Considering the influence news media can have on public opinions, the issue of childhood obesity needs to be highlighted more often and with a continued focus on prevention on systemic level rather than individual level. Childhood obesity needs to be handled on national level with public health campaigns committed to gain control of the situation now when the problem is not so critical.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Eccentric Training vs Stretching in Improving Flexibility of the Hip Joint in Young AdultsHinde, Sinead Ann; Bodea, Cornel; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi Kar; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Lukacs, BalazsMuscular flexibility has long been recognized as an important component of physical fitness, a fundamental component of basic human function, and is essential for good health as well as helpful in improving athletic and overall performance. We always try to find easy access to do the daily life activities and this thing made us lazy and more prone to different kind of musculoskeletal problems. The examined students were from different fields like physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy fields. It was hypothesized that physiotherapy group must be fit and healthy more than non-physiotherapy group because they are aware of pros and cons of spinal protection rule. Different kind of tests were performed on students of physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy groups like Schober I-II tests were conducted to find out the spinal mobility and a lot of other tests like Delmas Index, occiput to wall test, fingertip to floor test, lateral flexion test Lennie test, sphinx test, cobra test, Ganselen and Nachlas tests were also performed on each student to know if they have any postural problem and pain. The final result of our study was so interesting because when we did the comparison between physiotherapist group and non-physiotherapist group, it came to know that students in non-physiotherapist group were more fit, healthy and flexible than students of physiotherapist group.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Health assessment for internal and external Syrian population after 10 years of war in Syria: a Literature ReviewAlhaffar, MHD Bahaa Aldin; Janos, Sandor; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi Kar; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Nagy, Attila; Racz, GaborThis article draws an overview about how the Syrian war-affected health sector for Syrian population inside and outside Syria after ten years of war which makes it an important reference for future researchers to get the main highlight of the health sector during the Syrian crisis. the current health status of the Syrian population living inside Syria was reviewed, and also, the health status of the Syrian refugees was examined according to each host country. The goal of this study was to look at the prevalence and risk factors of WMSD among Syrian practicing dentists and to examine stress levels among them. Also, it was to assess their awareness of their working conditions and the physical activity they typically engage in. The study questionnaire was created based on the Nordic Standardized Questionnaire and the Perceived Stress Scale. 179 Syrian practicing dentists took a part in this study, (69.6%) male, and (37.4%) female. The majority of the sample had only a bachelor's degree in dentistry (73.7%). We discovered that they have a high prevalence of WMSDS, which was (87.7%). The most affected areas were the neck (81.1%), lower back (79.1%), and shoulders (64.9%) during the last 12 months and also during the last seven days. These proportions agree with the other studies and all of them showed the affected areas in the same order. (66.5%) were bothered by WMSDS pain in their daily lives and normal activities, and (66.5%) were taking medications to alleviate it. In this study, the sample years of experience ranged between (1-30) years and was on average (5 years). And they work on average for (21) hours per week, and it ranged between (2-90) hours weekly, and they see an atypical number of patients, which is 8 patients per day. As is known about dentistry, it is one of the most stressful occupations. Stress can cause muscle contraction and pain, and (86 percent) of the sample size in this study is under extreme stress. Practicing physical activity exercises and stretching is very important to reduce muscle damage. In this study, only (24%) of the participants practiced regular exercises. There is a need for dental students to be made aware of potential musculoskeletal problems at an early stage. Physical activities like yoga and stretching exercises should be done regularly. An educational program in ergonomics should be added to the university's schedule. Dentists are exposed to a wide range of occupational risks in their profession that are unique to this profession.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Antibiotics Misuse in SyriaSaba, Rachael; Rekassy, Balazs; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi Kar; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Dozsa, csaba; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi KarThis research establishes a baseline for understanding of people's awareness and practices, and the use of antibiotic medications by the Syrian people, which will facilitate developing actions to address the misuse of antibiotics.
