In this study we observed and analysed the ratio and causes of negligent posture in physiotherapy students. We assessed posture of international physiotherapy students at the faculty of public health of UD by using a questionnaire on body awareness of postural habits, physical examination and objective special tests for posture. Data was collected, statistical analysis was done in MS Excel, the mean and SD was calculated and unpaired t-test was used to determine the significance of the results. According to the questionnaire, we could see that physical activity level was diminished in these students and most students recorded pain in at least one region of the body and only two students were not aware of the rules of spinal protective lifestyle. the hypotheses that proper posture is not practiced among these students were partially true and we answered the question that physiotherapy students are at risk for postural deformities.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Assessment of posture, strength-endurance and balance skills among university and college studentsGharbi, Emna; Csepregi, Éva; Debreceni Egyetem department of physiotherapy; DE--Népegészségügyi KarIn this research, The aim was to assess the posture, strength-endurance and balance skills among physiotherapy and engineering students and the effect of student life on them and to compare them through a questionnaire about physical activity, 8 objective tests and Delmas index for the posture, 3 tests for strength-endurance and 2 tests for balance. We always try to find easy access to do the daily life activities and this thing made us lazy and more prone to different kind of musculoskeletal problems. The examined students were from different fields like physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy fields. It was hypothesized that physiotherapy group must be fit and healthy more than non-physiotherapy group because they are aware of pros and cons of spinal protection rule. Different kind of tests were performed on students of physiotherapy and non-physiotherapy groups like Schober I-II tests were conducted to find out the spinal mobility and a lot of other tests like Delmas Index, occiput to wall test, fingertip to floor test, lateral flexion test Lennie test, sphinx test, cobra test, Ganselen and Nachlas tests were also performed on each student to know if they have any postural problem and pain. The final result of our study was so interesting because when we did the comparison between physiotherapist group and non-physiotherapist group, it came to know that students in non-physiotherapist group were more fit, healthy and flexible than students of physiotherapist group.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Assessment of upper body posture among 4th and 5th year dentistry studentsAgheli, Sanaz; Cornel, Bodea; DE--Népegészségügyi KarThe link between a sedentary lifestyle and musculoskeletal problems is still controversial. Patients are considered to be partners with their healthcare providers and these professionals handle the patients not just from a therapeutic point of view but also from a mental, social, moral, financial and emotional point of view. While concerns have been raised that the patient-centered care motion runs contrary to the evidence-based approach to medicine that focuses more on public health than individual health, nevertheless, these issues have been put to a close as proponents of evidence-based medicine have accepted that what is important and appropriate to each patient should be counted as a positive outcome.Tétel Korlátozottan hozzáférhető Big Data, Public Health and EthicsMaida, Rabi Yasmeen Sani; Kakuk, Péter; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi Kar; DE--Népegészségügyi Kar; Varga, Orsolya; Gajdos, Ágoston; Debreceni Egyetem::Népegészségügyi KarA literature review showing the applications, use and concerns regarding the use of big data in health from an ethical perspective.
